Title: Deformation Theory and Color-Kinematic Duality

Abstract: Gauge theories are deeply rooted in geometry and, through the Batalin–Vilkovisky formalism, also in homotopical algebra. Meanwhile, deformation theory is controlled by Lie-type structures whose algebraic features closely parallel those of gauge theories. In this talk, I will explore these connections and present the color-kinematic duality observed in Chern-Simons and  Yang-Mills theory from the perspective of deformation theory.
